A top company for diversity

DiversityInc magazine names New York Life to their “Top 50 Companies for Diversity”

New York Life has been named to DiversityInc’s “Top 50 Companies for Diversity” list, joining a small, prestigious group of companies that are setting the bar for diversity best practices.

“We’re so proud to be acknowledged by DiversityInc for our ongoing commitment to integrating diversity and inclusion into every aspect of our daily business operations,” says Joanne Rodgers, the company’s Chief Diversity Officer.

Rodgers points out that DiversityInc’s recognition is the result of the company’s forward momentum with diversity initiatives throughout the organization, adding that senior management’s support has been critical to success.

“In addition, our employee resource groups have been integral to our diversity and inclusion efforts as they connect employees to our mission and provide a space for networking, development, leadership opportunities, and for raising diversity-related issues at the company. It is a great opportunity for employees to have an impact on the culture and success of the company,” she adds.
