The Personal Folder feature is a way for you to more efficiently use this Web site. When you create a Personal Folder, we take the answers you give us in a brief questionnaire and use them to generate a series of suggested links to articles on the site. Later, as you browse the site, you'll be able to use the "save this" icon at the top and bottom of every page to save pages of interest into your Personal Folder. When we add new articles to the site that match your interests, they'll be automatically added to your Personal Folder.

We also give you quick and easy access to our service applications (for New York Life customers), a way to request contact with an agent, and a way to request an illustration. You can even exchange secure messages with New York Life within the Personal Folder.

Creating a Personal Folder is Fast and Easy
First, you'll want to choose a user name and password so that your Personal Folder can only be viewed by you. If you don't share your computer with anyone else, you will want to select "yes" to the last question in the registration process. We'll place a cookie on your machine, so that you don't have to enter your login information every time you want to use your Personal Folder.

Next, answer all the questions on the registration page to create a personal profile. The information you enter is confidential and will never be shared with any third parties. Read our Privacy Policy for more information on this topic.

After you have finished filling out the login data and the personalization data, click on the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page. Your Personal Folder has been created and you're ready to go!
