Ragan Communications Awards Intranet for Business Focus, Navigation, Interactivity and Writing
NEW YORK, N.Y., May 14, 2002 New York Life Insurance Company announced today that the company's Intranet site for employees has been selected by Ragan Communications as one of the "Top Intranets for 2001," based on the site's business focus, navigation, interactivity and writing. New York Life's new Intranet site, "New York Life Online," provides employees with company information, self-service applications, company news and personalized external feeds to news, stocks, weather and more.

The Intranet team works continuously to provide new functionality by working with key business units to integrate existing online and offline processes onto the Web. "New York Life Online" is managed by the company's Corporate Internet Department in coordination with various business areas that contribute to the site.
