Company's Fifth Annual Networking and Training Seminar for Agents Serving the Hispanic Market
NEW YORK, November 20, 2003 - New York Life Insurance Company announced today that the company is holding its fifth conference for New York Life agents serving the Hispanic market. This year's national conference is being held in Scottsdale, Arizona on November 20-21, 2003. Conference events include training workshops, networking opportunities and keynote speeches by senior level executives including Fred Sievert, president of New York Life.
"New York Life has strong ties with the Hispanic community and this year's conference further supports the efforts of our career agency sales force who advise and counsel this diverse cultural group of policy holders and potential clients," says Juan Roberto Job, corporate vice president in the Cultural Marketing Division.
"The conference aims to provide our agents with the tools and skills necessary for working across the Latino community," says Mr. Job. "We expect to see over 100 agents and managers at this year's conference, an increase of 25% since last year's event, proving that the Hispanic market is a rapidly growing segment of the population."
Topics for the training sessions will include individual life and annuities, long-term care, trends in the Latina market, mutual funds, direct marketing, business ethics, personal and professional development, mentoring and community involvement. The company has worked closely with the Hispanic community for over 30 years.
