Congressman Charles Rangel Visits The New York Life/Schomburg Center Junior Scholars Program

Congressman Charles Rangel (D-15) joins participants in The New York Life/Schomburg Center Junior Scholars Program held at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. This educational opportunity for African-American children, ages 11 - 17, was made possible through a $1.16 million grant from the New York Life Foundation. On Saturdays throughout the school year, more than 100 children take part in this enriching program of exciting workshops with notable guest speakers.
