Royal Bengal Tiger
An apex predator, the majestic Tiger is the largest feline species in the world. A century ago, it is estimated there were over 100,000 tigers in the world but the population has now dwindled to about 5,000 to 7,000, with over half of them in the jungles of India. Humans are the tiger's most significant predator, as these cats are often poached for their skin and body parts.
