Spot-billed Pelican
Also called Grey Pelican, this species underwent a rapid decline in the recent past. Its small population continues to decline (although at a reduced rate) as a result of widespread degradation and exploitation of wetlands and colonies. A sedentary resident, the Spot-billed Pelican breeds in southern Asia from India to Indonesia.
