NEW YORK, N.Y., March 8, 2004 – New York Life Insurance Company announced today that Lauren M. Truckenbrodt has been hired as a corporate vice president and senior corporate–owned life insurance (COLI) field director in the company's Advanced Markets Network department in Leawood, Kansas. In this role, she will be responsible for promoting the marketing and sales of New York Life's COLI products, expanding the distribution network, managing general marketing activities, and supervising COLI field directors.
Before joining New York Life, Ms. Truckenbrodt was a sales vice president for Travelers Life and Annuity, where she was responsible for sales and marketing of institutional life insurance products to high producing brokers. Previously, she was a vice president of marketing for Allmerica Financial where she also worked with brokers in the institutional life insurance marketplace.
Ms. Truckenbrodt received her Associate of Applied Sciences in Marketing in 1976, summa cum laude, from the Fashion Institute of Technology, part of the State University of New York.
Ms. Truckenbrodt currently resides in Clinton, Connecticut.
