NEW YORK, N.Y., August 24, 2007 – New York Life Insurance Company has dominated the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) in the United States for the fifty-third consecutive year with 2,453 New York Life agents, the highest number ever for an MDRT leader. New York Life’s 2007 MDRT membership represents a New York Life and MDRT record in the United States. MDRT granted memberships to 13,882 agents in the United States making membership in this organization a distinguishing life insurance career milestone, attained by less than 1 percent of the world’s financial services professionals who have demonstrated superior professional knowledge, experience and client service.
In addition, New York Life has more women MDRT members than any other U.S. company with an increase of 15 percent this year. In 2007, 355 women New York Life agents are MDRT members, representing 26 percent of all women MDRT members.
