The Foundation offers three grant programs that support New York Life agents', employees' and retirees' volunteer involvement with nonprofit charitable agencies in their communities:
The Competitive Grants Program and Local Volunteer Action Program recognize ongoing volunteer service by an individual, while the TeamGrant Program supports short-term or single-event team projects. Eligible individuals may apply for all three programs in the same year.
In addition, the Foundation offers two programs that support education:
The Educational Matching Gift Program encourages agents and employees to support schools, while the Family Scholars Program offers agents’ and employees’ children the opportunity to compete for scholarships.
