As a policyholder of New York Life, we would like to show you how convenient and easy it is to access service on the products you own on our Web site.
The following slides will provide you with a quick tour of the policy information made available to you, as well as various automated transactions and contract changes you can request on your account online.
At New York Life our goal is to provide policy information in a safe and secure environment.
To accomplish this we encrypt private information using a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) for all transmittance of data and require the use of a 128 bit encrypted / SSL-capable browser.
In order to login to your account, please enter your User Name and Password. If you haven't registered, please click the "Register Now" button and provide us with a unique user name, password, and a secret question.
Once you have registered, if you have trouble logging in, you can reset your password online by providing your secret answer, or contact a customer service representative to request additional help.
If you are having problems accessing your account, you can now help yourself.
Reset your password using our easy-to-use three step process and gain immediate access to your account.
For security reasons, in order to do this, you will be required to provide personal information that only you know, in addition to the answer to your secret question.

Once you have successfully logged-in you can view your Account Summary, which is a consolidated view of most of the NYL products you own and is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
By clicking Access Service you can access
You can choose to access the Virtual Service Center for service on your Life Insurance and Annuities. This screen provides you with general policy information. (Address Information, Face Amount, Premium Information, etc.)
You also have the option to use the fly-out menu on the left-hand navigation bar to view policy values (i.e. Cash Value), download service forms and request various transactions.
To access service on your other Life Insurance or Annuity policies simply click on the policy drop down list located below the insured/annuitant's name.
You also have the ability to add beneficiaries or access beneficiary related forms right from this page.

You can change or add beneficiaries in four simple steps.

You can change the owner's address and/or phone numbers directly online without downloading or mailing a form to New York Life.
Your address and phone numbers can be updated on multiple policies that are serviced on the Virtual Service Center.
This page can be accessed simply by clicking the "Change of Address" menu option located on the left-hand navigation bar or by clicking a link located on the General Policy Information screen.

Save paper and sign up for eDelivery to have policy documents delivered to your inbox.
You'll receive an e-mail when correspondence is available to view online.
This includes tax forms (where applicable) and consolidated statements. In addition, semi-annual reports, annual reports, and quarterly policy summaries are available on Variable Life and Annuity products.
Additional correspondence will be made available in the near future.
If you own a Variable Life or Annuity policy you can view your current investments.
From this page you can choose to either transfer funds or change your future premium allocations among current Investment divisions.
You also have the option to use the fly-out menu on the left-hand navigation bar to view Cash Values, Premium Allocations, Loan Values, and Partial Withdrawal values on your Variable policies.

If you own a Variable policy, you can choose to transfer funds among your current Investment Divisions. You have the option to transfer funds using dollar amounts or percentages.
You will be presented with an easy-to-use investment table where you can view your current investments, enter your transfer amounts, and select the appropriate Investment Divisions.

If you own a variable policy, you may also choose to perform a full fund rebalance/reallocation of your entire portfolio.
You will be presented with a table that allows you to view your current investment divisions, along with the option to rebalance using percentages.
If you own a variable policy and it contains an existing Automatic Asset Reallocation (AAR) arrangement, you may modify or cancel this arrangement on the VSC.
You may also perform this transaction in conjunction with a fund transfer, fund rebalance, and future premium allocation change.
If you own a Variable policy, you have the option to change your future premium allocations online.
You will be presented with an investment Divisions table containing a column with your current allocations and a column where you can enter your new allocations.
After entering your new allocations, we will allow you to review your changes before submitting.

This page displays, when applicable, the Loan Value of the policy that you have selected.
You also have the option to use the fly-out menu on the left-hand navigation bar to view Net Cash Value, Dividend Value, and Premium information.

If you own a Traditional policy you have the option to request a loan or dividend withdrawal online and request to pay your premium by loan or dividend.
If your premiums are currently paid directly from your bank account, you can select your distribution option: either have your loan deposited directly into that account via Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT), or receive a check via U.S. Mail.

Policyholders are provided with the opportunity to view the details of their request/transaction prior to submitting it to the company. If you notice a mistake you can choose to "modify" the transaction.

Our confirmation pages for our different transactions encourage users to take note of unique tracking numbers or print the pages for their records as proof that transactions were successful.

On this page you have access to your statements from the past 24 months, including your most recent statement.
You can view and print any statement online and you have the option to sort through them by statement type and date.
You also have access to historical transaction confirmations, up to the past 24 months, which provides an accurate transaction history.

This Service Forms page allows you to download a prefilled Change of Beneficiary Form. Your policy number and the insured or annuitant's name will automatically be pre-filled on the form.
You have the option of editing information on the form online prior to printing. You can also download other service forms, such as

If you are looking for information on how to contact us, select "Contact Agent/Registered Rep" in the left menu for choices as to who to contact about your particular contract.

The Contact Us page gives you options in how to service your contract. You can click on your agent's name and send him/her an email directly.
To service your contract, you can call the appropriate service center or access our online service centers directly. To ask questions about your statement(s), you can call the contact number or e-mail your agent from this page. The choices are yours!

Click the "Export" icon to download data into personal money management software programs such as Quicken, MS Money, Turbo Tax, etc.

You can select the "Access Service" button to perform online service on one of your MainStay Mutual Fund accounts.

The "Manage Account" page allows you to view your account history, purchase additional shares, make systematic purchases, make an exchange, make a redemption, view your cost basis, and view your tax information.
(Note: Tax information can only be viewed if your account had redemptions or declared distributions of over $10 in the last year.

The "Redemption Request" page allows you to select your distribution option.
You can have the money deposited directly into any account you choose, either by Account Clearing House or wire transfer.

You can select the "Access Service" button to perform online service on one of your NYLIFE Securities brokerage accounts.

Selecting the "Access Service" button associated with your NYLIFE Securities account will bring you to our online brokerage service site.

Trade authorization is available online. You can execute your transaction in real time or schedule it for a later date.

This page allows you to search statements by date and/or type.

This page allows you to keep track of your personalized portfolio.

This tool helps you evaluate securities prior to purchasing them. It can help you determine how best to manage your assets.
