Give for Good.
Our Give for Good initiatives include our Give for Good Giving Campaign, Matching Gifts Program, and Disaster Relief Program. Together these programs provide platforms for the generosity of our employees and agents across the country.
Along with the Foundation’s grantmaking, the work of Corporate Responsibility is essential in New York Life’s philanthropic efforts. Year after year three programs in particular stand out: the annual Give for Good Giving Campaign, our year-round Matching Gifts Program, and our Disaster Relief Program.
Give for Good Giving Campaign.
The Foundation facilitates employees’ and agents’ charitable giving to most U.S.-based nonprofit organizations. Since 1983, thousands of New York Life people have pledged millions of dollars to the local charities of their choice. Through this annual giving campaign we raised $4.8 million last year, $1.4 million more than we did in the previous campaign.
Matching Gifts Program.
The Foundation matches the gifts of employees, agents, and retirees to accredited educational institutions and childhood bereavement organizations up to $5,000 per year. We support kids all across the country with our matching gifts.
Disaster Relief Program.
When natural disasters strike, New York Life – and our people – pitch in. The company fully matches employees’ and agents’ donations to the American Red Cross and other designated aid organizations in extraordinary cases of calamity.
