New York Life generated record-breaking results and solid growth in 2002. Despite a difficult economic environment, New York Life had the highest adjusted operating earnings and strongest year of insurance sales in its history. Once again, we led the rest of the industry in U.S. life insurance sales, while achieving significant growth in our international markets.
