AARP Life Insurance Program
AARP selected New York Life to develop a group life insurance program specifically designed to help AARP members protect their families. The Program offers whole life and term life insurance plans that feature affordable premiums and valuable benefits designed for people age 50 and older. Coverage is available in a wide range of amounts--from $2,500 up to $50,000.
AARP members age 50–80 and their spouses age 45–80 are eligible to apply. No medical exam is required to qualify for coverage. For most products, acceptance is based on your answers to three simple health questions. You can apply by mail in just minutes. And if you're not already an AARP member, it's easy to join.
