Sponsored Marketing Relationships
New York Life has entered into sponsored marketing relationships with other insurance companies to expand our product offerings. These arrangements provide consumers with a variety of products not manufactured by New York Life. Through these agreements impaired risk life and annuity, disability income, individual health and group health products are available.

Individual Health products are available through Golden Rule, John Alden and Humana Insurance Company. Products include traditional medical, preferred provider, co-pay, short term medical, Medicare supplement and high deductible medical plans that qualify for health savings accounts (HSAs).

Group Health products available include preferred provider, health maintenance organization, point of service, health savings account, high deductible medical and indemnity. These products are offered through John Alden Life Insurance Company, Pacific Life & Annuity Company, CIGNA HealthCare, First National Administrators and Humana Insurance Company.

Disability Income, both individual and group, is available through UnumProvident Corporation. Individual disability income is also available through BISYS Insurance Services and their various carriers specializing in the impaired risk, blue collar, special risk situations and some white collar markets.

Impaired Risk Life and Annuity products (fixed and variable) are available from outside carriers through BISYS Insurance Services when a New York Life policy cannot be placed. Eligible situations include substandard rating, declined cases, large case diversification, products not currently offered by New York Life and specialty risk products.
