The Corporate Finance department of New York Life offers an Accounting Program in our Controller’s function which has many different divisions that you can be selected to join. In this role you will be exposed to the businesses as well as the department ‘s management team.
If you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting,
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher,
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products (Word, Access, etc.),
- Ability to communicate effectively,
- Strong analytical skills, and
- Ability to work well in a team environment
And you would like to be actively involved in an area that:
- maintains the integrity of New York Life’s accounting books and records,
- oversees accounting, financial reporting, and financial and accounting system controls,
- Implements corporate accounting policies/accounting controls,
- reports the Company’s financial results and analyzes the drivers of those results, and
- performs investment accounting and reporting.
