Educational Matching Gifts Program
Each year, hundreds of schools receive nearly $1,000,000 through New York Life’s Educational Matching Gift Program. Contributions from individual qualifying donors may be matched up to $3,000 per year. Donations from Chairman's Council agents and senior-level executives can be matched up to $5,000 annually to any public or private elementary, secondary and higher educational institution.
Eligibility
- Full-or part-time (more than 20 hours weekly) employees with one or more years of continuous service
- Retired employees
- Proactive agents who have been under contract with the Company for a minimum of the prior 12 months and are current Council members
- Lifetime Council Members
Application Procedure
- The donor’s annual (Jan 1-Dec 31) limit is based on the date the form is received
- Matches are made on a quarterly basis
