Investing in your children’s higher education - two competitive scholarship opportunities!

New York Life College Scholarships
Each year the New York Life Foundation awards $50,000 in new scholarships to the children of our agents and employees through the Scholarship America Program with renewals for up to three years. We also offer scholarships to National Merit Finalists.

Scholarship America awards New York Life Family Scholarships on a competitive basis to high school seniors or enrolled college freshmen, sophomores or juniors who plan to continue an accredited two- or four- year college, university or vocational/technical school. Scholarships range from $1,000-$3,000 annually for up to four years.

The National Merit Corporation awards scholarships to eligible high school seniors who qualify as National Merit Finalists. Scholarships provide $2,000 annually for up to four years.

Eligibility
Dependent children (high school seniors who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school no later than the fall term following announcement of the awards) of:

  • Agents must be actively under contract for at least three years
  • Employees must be active with the Company or a subsidiary for at least three years
