The Foundation offers three grant programs that support New York Life agents', employees' and retirees' volunteer involvement with nonprofit charitable agencies in their communities:
The Competitive Grants Program and Local Volunteer Action Program recognize ongoing volunteer service by an individual, while the TeamGrant Program supports short-term or single-event team projects. Eligible individuals may apply for all three programs in the same year.
In addition, the Foundation offers two programs that support education. The Educational Matching Gift Program encourages members of the New York Life family to support institutions of learning, while the New York Life Family Scholars Program offers the opportunity for the children of New York Life agents and employees to compete for scholarships.
