Irwin Sandler is a research professor at the REACH Institute at Arizona State University. He is the co-developer of the Family Bereavement Program (FBP), a fellow of the American Psychological Association and the Society for Prevention Research.

The project will help advance the issue of bereavement by providing a proven program model that can be used by the entire field.

In the article, Dr. Sandler offers tips for parents on how best to support their grieving children this Mother’s and Father’s Day.
