William A. Kindorf
Managing Director

Mr. Kindorf heads Madison Capital’s Insurance & Financial Services Leveraged Finance team. He focuses on originating, structuring, underwriting, negotiating and closing both Madison led transactions and participation transactions. Prior to re-joining the firm in 2008, he served as Vice President in charge of Corporate Development for First Mercury Financial Corp., a publicly traded insurance carrier and MGA, where he led the company’s M&A activities. Before that, he spent three years with Madison Capital. Prior to Madison, he worked for Cochran, Caronia & Co., a boutique investment bank serving the insurance industry. Mr. Kindorf earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations.


Robert S. Douglass
Director

Mr. Douglass is a member of one of Madison Capital’s underwriting teams, focusing on originating, structuring, underwriting, negotiating and closing both Madison-led transactions and participation transactions. Prior to joining the firm in 2004, he worked in the Assurance and Advisory Business Services practice of Ernst & Young LLP, providing audit and advisory services to manufacturing, real estate, and consumer products companies. Mr. Douglass earned a BBA in Finance and a Master in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and is a registered Certified Public Accountant (CPA).


Jason K. Schryver
Director

Mr. Schryver is a member of Madison’s Insurance and Financial Services Leveraged Finance team, focusing on originating, structuring, and underwriting both Madison-led and participation leveraged finance transactions. Prior to joining Madison Capital in 2006, he worked in various underwriting, portfolio management, and relationship management roles at Charter One Bank and focused on both middle market commercial lending and private equity sponsor backed transactions across a variety of industries. Mr. Schryver earned a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an MBA in Finance and Management & Strategy, with distinction, from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
