NEW YORK, NY September 12, 2019 – Spotlighting not only the fun-filled spirit of a toy house, but also the power of a legacy passed down from generation to generation, New York Life’s “Toy House of Marvelous Milestones” float will remind all those watching the 93rd Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade® that life is best lived when shared with the ones they love.

In featuring key life moments including birth, graduation, marriage, and retirement, the float promises to powerfully display to the 3.5 million spectators lining the Manhattan Parade route and the 50 million viewers across the United States what it means to “Be Good at Life.”

“As we prepare to celebrate our first 175 years in 2020, we are tremendously thankful for the generations of families and businesses who place their trust in New York Life,” said Kevin Heine, Head of Corporate Communications at New York Life. “We could imagine no better way to celebrate our thanks, rich history, and ongoing commitment to communities across the country than by participating in the historic Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.”

According to Jordan Dabby, Senior Director Partnership Marketing for Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, “We are thrilled to help celebrate New York Life’s upcoming milestone 175th anniversary with this unique and beautiful Parade float. The “Toy House of Marvelous Milestones” concept evokes the timeless themes of looking onward and upward, dynamic and diverse families, and bringing people together – messages that are sure to resonate with those enjoying this year’s Parade.”

Above the float’s performance stage, “Toy House of Marvelous Milestones” will feature a gold turret, a tribute to the gold peak at the top of New York Life’s Home Office, a National Historic Landmark located at 51 Madison Avenue in Manhattan, which has been a beacon in the New York City skyline for more than 90 years.

The 93rd Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade airs nationwide on NBC-TV on Thursday, November 28, 2019, 9:00 a.m. – Noon; in all time zones.
