New York Life recently revealed the :60-second advertising creative to air during the Big Game on Sunday, February 2, 2020. The film, Agápē, launches our new “Love Takes Action” campaign, a celebration of our company’s first 175 years and a reflection of our long-held mission, purpose, and core values.
Exploring the different types of love originating in the ancient Greek language, the film ultimately identifies the most profound type of love, agápē, love as an action. Given our 175-year history of helping people build better futures, the Agápē film recognizes the actions people take every day to protect themselves and their loved ones.
“The creative aims to remind Americans that they have the power to act on their love, whether through considerable hardships or the smallest and most personal gestures. Fortitude is required to build better futures and we want to celebrate love taking action with our policy owners, future customers, financial professionals, and employees,” says Kari Axberg, co-head of Marketing. “As we reflect on our rich 175-year heritage of financial professionals assisting Americans in acting on their love, we believe the film conveys this message of love taking action in a meaningful and memorable way.”
The “Love Takes Action” campaign is rooted in our long-held core values of integrity and humanity, and our core purpose—to be there when our policy owners need us.
