Turnage Young, senior counsel at the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund and Heather Nesle, president of the New York Life Foundation, discuss educational equity and how certain barriers to equal educational opportunities are more pronounced during a public health crisis.  They also discuss what the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund has been doing to overcome these challenges as well as other ways in which COVID-19 has exacerbated inequities in the U.S., specifically voting rights.
