Pedram Afshar is New York Life’s head of Service. Since joining in 2016, he has overseen a team of 2,300+ service professionals, across 170+ locations, who share a single core purpose—to be there for our policy owners and financial professionals whenever and wherever they need us.

Prior to New York Life, Pedram worked at Best Buy, Capital One, American Century Investments, and USAA. Over that 20-year period, Pedram held a number of strategy, operations, and technology roles domestically and internationally.

Pedram earned a Bachelor’s degree and Master of Business with an emphasis on technology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He is also a member of New York City’s YMCA board of directors. Pedram is based out of New York City.
