The New York Life “Toy House of Marvelous Milestones” float, which debuted in 2019, was featured in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade® this November 25th for the third consecutive year.

The “Toy House of Marvelous Milestones” tells the timeless story of bringing people together, working hand-in-hand to build better futures for loved ones, and having a positive impact on communities for generations to come. The float depicts key life moments as a powerful display of what it means to “Be Good at Life.”

“We are tremendously thankful for the generations of families and businesses who place their trust in New York Life” — Kevin Heine, Head of Corporate Communications at New York Life.

Following unique updates in acknowledgment of New York Life marking the company’s first 175 years in 2020, the float featured a Thanksgiving celebration in place of last year’s birthday theme. The address marker above the toy house’s front door read “51,” a nod to the address of New York Life’s Home Office, a National Historic Landmark located at 51 Madison Avenue. The building’s gold pyramidal peak has been a beacon in the New York City skyline for almost 100 years. Additionally, the toy car in the house’s driveway includes a license plate that reads “Since 1845” in acknowledgement of the year of New York Life’s founding.

“We are tremendously thankful for the generations of families and businesses who place their trust in New York Life,” said Kevin Heine, Head of Corporate Communications at New York Life. “We could imagine no better way to celebrate our thanks, rich history, and ongoing commitment to communities across the country than by participating in the historic Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.”
