After many months of preparation, New York Life’s “Toy House of Marvelous Milestones” float successfully made its way down the route of the 93rd annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with Grammy-winning singer Kelly Rowland performing onboard to the delight of millions of spectators.

This video shows the float’s evolution from its preliminary sketches at Macy’s Parade Studio all the way up to it springing to life on Thanksgiving morning.  Our float celebrates both relatable key life moments as well as New York Life’s approaching 175th anniversary in 2020.  It was designed to remind spectators what it means to “Be Good at Life” and that life is best lived when shared with those they love.

The float made its way past the 3.5 million spectators who lined the Manhattan Parade route and was seen by the 50 million viewers across the United States who tuned in to the televised broadcast to see the iconic extravaganza known as the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

We are honored to have been a part of such a cherished holiday tradition and are excited that our float has weaved its way into New York Life’s rich history as we prepare for celebrating our 175th Anniversary.
