In any election year, exercising your right to vote is a crucial part of American democracy.  Despite this fact many American’s still do not vote citing the fact that they’re too busy with the demands of work and life.  This  year’s upcoming 2020 presidential election promises to be even more challenging due to the additional issues brought on by COVID-19.

As a result, New York Life has joined hundreds of other companies across the U.S. in signing the Make Time to Vote pledge.  It is a non-partisan effort  aimed at demonstrating the power of what the business community can achieve when it works to address the most significant issues of our time. The pledge highlights our commitment to ensure that our employees have a work schedule that allows them the time they need to vote in this year's presidential elections.  We’re proud to sign the pledge to demonstrate our belief and commitment in the American democratic process to ensure all of our employees can make time to vote.
