New York Life Chairman and CEO Ted Mathas recently sat down with ACLI President and CEO Susan Neely for her Kitchen Table Conversation series on life insurance, retirement, savings and our future. ACLI’s online community discussion platform, known as “Protecting Every Future,” focuses on the topic of family financial security.

During the conversation, Ted discusses the importance of life insurance as part of a family’s financial protection plan. Discussing the recently launched Help Protect Our Families Initiative, Ted said “Our business is built around protecting people, our business is a business of social good…we have the opportunity here to sit back, reflect, and raise the bar on ourselves to do a better job of targeting the underserved…and make sure everybody has an opportunity.”
