Organizers of the inaugural Women in Asset Management Awards named IndexIQ’s Kelly Ye the winner in the Index category, while MacKay Shields’ Frances Lewis was a finalist in the Bond Manager category.
Kelly is director of research at IndexIQ, our boutique investment firm that specializes in exchange traded funds (ETFs). She has been with the company since 2015 and oversees product research and development at IndexIQ. With her contributions, the firm was recognized by ETF Express as one of the most innovative ETF shops. Ye serves on the board of CFA Society New York. She also plays an active role in both The Women’s Initiative (TWI) Employee Resource Group and the Asian Network Group.
Lewis is a 20-year bond industry veteran and has been with fund manager MacKay Shields, another one of our boutiques, since 2009. She works on the Municipal Managers team, which has seen a rapid growth in assets during her time there. Lewis has a similar passion for helping women in the financial industry and was recently part of a TWI panel where she discussed her career journey and offered guidance.
