New York Life Real Estate Investors Appoints Paul Behar as Senior Director and Head of Business Development

NEW YORK, May 07, 2015—New York Life Real Estate Investors announced today the appointment of Paul Behar as Senior Director and Head of Business Development. Based in the firm’s New York City office, Mr. Behar will lead the team’s investor relations and distribution efforts which will include coordinating communications, marketing strategy, and relationship building efforts with New York Life Real Estate Investors’ existing and prospective investors and clients. Mr. Behar reports to Mark Talgo, Senior Managing Director, head of New York Life Real Estate Investors.

Mr. Behar joins New York Life from Hunt Companies, where he was a senior vice president focused on capital formation and acquisitions. Prior to Hunt’s acquisition of the Tuckerman group from State Street Global Advisors, Mr. Behar was a senior vice president at Tuckerman focused on acquisitions and portfolio management. Mr. Behar brings over 12 years of institutional real estate experience to the business.

Mr. Behar earned a BA in Economics and English from Colgate University and an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
