New York, June 27, 2016—New York Life Real Estate Investors announced today the financing, on behalf of institutional investors, of Crescent Dilworth, a Class ¬A residential property located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The three-year floating rate loan was used by Berkshire Multifamily USA Property Partners, LP to finance its acquisition of the property.
“Situated across the street from the Carolinas Medical Center and adjacent to the Little Sugar Creek Greenway, Crescent Dilworth is one of the finest multifamily properties in Charlotte,” said Randall Hall, senior director with New York Life Real Estate Investors’ Atlanta Regional Office. “We are excited to again work with Berkshire on another high quality, time-sensitive acquisition. Even though this was a pre-stabilized property, we were able to accommodate Berkshire’s needs.”
Matthew Forgione, vice president for CBRE’s Debt & Structured Finance Group in Atlanta, was the mortgage broker for the transaction.
