The Golden Sweater Project

Since 2008, the New York Life Foundation has invested more than $100 million to expand bereavement support for children, families, schools, workplaces, and communities.  To mark this milestone and honor the people and stories behind it, the Foundation is launching the Golden Sweater Project.

The project invites people to share their “golden sweater”—an object, memory, song, tradition, or other meaningful connection that helps keep a loved one’s memory close.
