Smart connectivity with Alight: A simpler way to manage EOI

How we’re working with Alight to make evidence of insurability easier, faster, and more transparent.

We’re excited to introduce a new capability with Alight designed to streamline the Evidence of Insurability (EOI) process—making it easier for employees to complete, and simpler for HR teams to manage.

With single sign-on (SSO) integration between Alight and our underwriting platform, employees can easily access and complete their medical history questionnaire, while the decision return Application Programming Interface (API) enables New York Life Group Benefit Solutions (NYL GBS) to automatically send decisions to Alight’s system with ease.

What this means for you and your employees:

  • Employees complete enrollment directly in Alight’s system.
  • We automatically connect them to our medical underwriting platform.
  • They answer a few “yes/no” medical questions.
  • Real-time updates keep employees informed.
  • Decision API updates Alight’s system automatically for streamlined HR administration.
