Streamlined ADA Accommodations

Save time and improve compliance by creating a pre-planned approach.

New York Life Absence Assist℠ helps reduce the time and complexity of implementing ADA accommodations by using an agreed upon list of conditions and equipment to speed up common decisions.

Put our expertise to work for you

Leveraging our expertise in almost every aspect of disability and ADA management, we’ve identified conditions and equipment that are commonly associated with ADA accommodation requests. Using this expert guidance, we will work with you to establish agreed upon decisions and actions that will help govern future ADA requests from your employees, streamlining the end-to-end accommodation process.

This approach provides:

Faster Actions

Recommendations have already been vetted for effectiveness, feasibility, and compliance, so we can implement accommodations faster for employees.

Expertise from vocal coaches

Master-level experience is used to identify the most effective and reasonable accommodations.

Enhanced Compliance

Consistency and clear guidelines help avoid ambiguity and reduce compliance risk.

Better use of your time and resources

Reallocate time and resources to focus on more complex accommodation requests.

Select the approach that works best for you

We provide flexibility that enables you to create an effective accommodation process that works best for your organization:

Option 1: Create an accommodation plan based on ADA-qualified conditions:

When you agree to our established list conditions, we can proactively reach out to your employee after their ADA request is submitted to begin identifying an appropriate accommodation.

We can also work with employers to identify certain accommodations for these specific conditions so that decisions and actions can take place without additional approvals. This can save significant time and make the experience easier for employees.
