LEADERSHIP

Kathleen Navarro is Senior Vice President, Chief Diversity Officer, and Head of Human Resources Business Enablement at New York Life. She leads the company’s DE&I, HR business partners, HR data & analytics teams. She is responsible for driving the company’s integrated diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy and talent strategies supporting the strategic goals of the company.

Ms. Navarro joined New York Life in 1994 and has held a variety of finance, strategy, and operations roles spanning Insurance and Agency, Investments, and Corporate Departments. She previously co-led New York Life’s employee resource group for women.

Ms. Navarro holds an MBA in Accountancy from Baruch College Zicklin School of Business, a BS in Statistics and Management from New York University Stern School of Business, and a certification in Building & Leading Diverse Organizations from the Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education. She sits on the board of the National Diversity Council and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. She has been recognized for her efforts in championing DE&I by numerous organizations, including DiversityGlobal, Black Enterprise, the National Diversity Council, and was included in the inaugural Power Women list by amNewYork & PoliticsNY.
