Presenting the 2021 Love Takes Action Award winners

A group of people working together

The New York Life Foundation will provide grants to 20 organizations from across the country for their COVID-19 and social justice work in their communities.

The New York Life Foundation created the Love Takes Action Awards in 2020 to mark its commitment to helping people act on their love. The awards honor nonprofit leaders in our communities who embody this selflessness by stepping forward and making a difference.

Thanks to nominations from our employees and agents—our “New York Life Champions” in the chart below-- the Foundation will be awarding a total of $500,000 in grants to 20 nonprofits nationwide. There are two categories of grants—COVID-19 Response and Social & Racial Justice. Ten winning organizations from each category will each receive a grant of $25,000 for their work. See the list of winners below.

Congratulations to the winners listed below and thank you for your service!
