New York Life's student loan repayment program is helping many employees avoid the burden of post graduate debt.

The average college grad enters the workforce with potentially crippling student loan debt averaging about $35,000. Thanks to the aid of New York Life's student loan repayment program instituted last fall, many of its employees no longer have to face this financial burden.

The Westchester County Business Journal recently interviewed two New York Life employees about the program and detailed how it's helping to accelerate the student loan repayment process which often contributes to the delay of important life events like building a home or starting a family.
