New York Life welcomes our 2026 summer interns

Interns in our program do real work from day one.

New York Life is excited to welcome 274 interns across 18 locations and 29 departments this summer across the company.

This year’s theme — Summer of Champions — is inspired by the upcoming FIFA World Cup tournament. It’s rooted in teamwork, resilience and the courage to try something new — skills that will be valuable to all our interns, now and in the future.

Interns will gain hands-on experience by working alongside dedicated mentors and make real contributions to their teams. They’ll also have valuable networking opportunities across all levels of the organization — including direct connections with company leaders, a unique feature of our intern program.

Champion’s mindset

During the Summer of Champions, our interns will face meaningful challenges and navigate obstacles all designed to help them grow and prepare for wherever their path may take them. The goal — help them develop a champion’s mindset.

Throughout the program, interns will be supported with resources to grow professionally and personally. We want each student to leave with practical skills and a deeper sense of purpose.
