  • A word about security…

    Please do not include personal information in reply e-mail messages that are sent back to NYL. Non-encrypted e-mails sent from your personal email accounts (i.e. can be intercepted and viewed by other Internet users without your knowledge or consent. Replies to messages from NYL should be submitted through our secure website or communicated by calling one of our service centers.

    New York Life employees follow a company wide security policy. Only authorized personnel are allowed access to personally identifiable information collected online and these employees have been trained to safeguard the confidentiality of this information.

    New York Life aims to provide policy information to the customer in a secure environment that makes you feel comfortable doing business with us. In order to accomplish this we have incorporated the following security measures:

  • Personal information

    Customers are required to enter the following personal information in order to register for your account.

    • Last Name
    • Social Security Number
    • Policy/Account Number
    • Date of Birth (DOB)

    In addition, customers will be asked to create a User Name and Password in order to login.

  • User name

    Please keep in mind the following when creating a User Name:

    • A User Name must be between 5 and 50 characters long
    • Can consist of all letters, all numbers or a combination of letters, numbers and symbols
    • Are not case sensitive
    • Cannot contain spaces
    • Should not be your Social Security Number
  • Password

    For Security reasons, your Password must:

    • Contain at least 8 characters
    • Must consist of a combination of letters and numbers
    • Are case sensitive
    • Cannot contain spaces

    Your Password should never be shared with anyone and should be changed frequently. By using your Password, you are authorizing New York Life to provide you with information on your policy in an electronic format.

  • Firewall

    A firewall is a combination of computer hardware and software that is meant to keep unauthorized users from accessing information within New York Life's client website.

  • Encryption technology

    To further provide a safe environment for our customers we encrypt information using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) for all transmittance of data. To support this technology, you need a modern web browser that supports 128-bit encryption (IE 6 or later, or any version of Firefox or Chrome).

  • Account summary

    All flexible premium life insurance products, deferred annuities and income annuities issued on and after November 2, 1981 are issued by New York Life Insurance Company and Annuity Corporation (NYLIAC), A Delaware  Corporation, except for the New York Life Mutual Income Annuities which are issued by New York Life Insurance Company (NYLIC), 51 Madison Avenue, New York, New York 10010. NYLIAC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of NYLIC. 

    Term to 90 is issued by NYLIFE Insurance Company of Arizona (NYLAZ), Phoenix, AZ 85016, a wholly owned subsidiary of NYLIC. This product is not available in New York.

    New York Life Variable Universal Life and Variable Annuities are issued by New York Life Insurance and Annuity Corporation ("NYLIAC "), a Delaware Corporation, and offered by NYLIFE Securities LLC, Member FINRA/SIPC.  Both NYLIAC and NYLIFE Securities LLC are wholly-owned subsidiaries of New York Life Insurance Company, 51 Madison Ave.  New York, New York 10010.   

    Your New York Life Account Summary is not a substitute for your detailed annual/quarterly statement(s). Please see your annual/quarterly statements for more detailed information on account balances and account activity. Your Account Summary does not replace any information in nor modify any provision of your individual insurance policies or investment contracts. The terms of your insurance policies or investment contracts shall supersede any information provided in your Account Summary. The values shown reflect transactions processed up to, but may not include, the "as of" date. Your policies’ current values may vary or may not be calculable due to unprocessed transactions.

    • Corporate Owned Life Insurance (COLI) bought through a broker.
    • Non-New York Life variable life or annuity products bought through your New York Life agent.
    • AmSouth Bank annuities that are underwritten by New York Life.
    • Mainstay Funds bought through a third party.
    • McMorgan Funds
    • New York Life Benefit Services Inc. 401(k) plans
    • Eclipse Funds
    • AARP Life Insurance Program
    • Products purchased through a membership association
    • NYL Disability Income Insurance administered by UnumProvident
    • Non-Mainstay Mutual Funds bought through your New York Life Agent
    • Supplementary Contracts
    • Structured Settlements
    • Pinnacle Private Placement Variable Universal Life
    • Magnastar Private Placement Variable Universal Life
    • Other non-New York Life manufactured products bought through your New York Life agent.


    If any of the products listed above are held in NYLIFE Securities Brokerage accounts, they will be included in the total market value on the Account Summary. NYLIM Retirement Services, a division of New York Life Investment Management, LLC ("NYLIM"), provides record-keeping and other retirement plan services.

    Policies/accounts listed here are only for those associated with the owner of said accounts and address as listed. Therefore, it is possible that missing policy/account information may be the result of a client having policies/accounts associated with a different name and/or address.
