The National Organization on Disability (NOD) recognized 65 Leading Disability Employers for 2023, including New York Life. In its ninth year, the NOD Leading Disability Employer Seal spotlights the transformative contributions made by business leaders in promoting employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. It also honors those organizations that prioritize diversity, equity and importantly, accessibility — setting a high standard for others to follow.

New York Life has been named one of the 2023 Best Companies for Multicultural Women by Seramount, part of EAB. FORBES BEST EMPLOYERS FOR DIVERSITY 2023

New York Life’s was honored to be ranked #31 in Forbes' prestigious list of America's Best Employers for Diversity.  Statista surveyed 45,000 Americans working for businesses with at least 1,000 employees and  were asked to anonymously rate their organizations based on criteria such as age, gender, ethnicity, disability and LGBTQ+ equality, as well as general diversity.

New York Life's DE&I Center for Awareness & Advocacy received the 2022 "International Innovations in Diversity" award from Profiles in Diversity Journal. 

THE 2022 FOREFRONT 50: TOP CORPORATIONS FOR MINORITY BUSINESSES.

New York Life's Supplier Diversity team received "The Forefront 50: Top Corporations for Minority Businesses" for 2022. This award is from National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) for the team’s advocacy work for minority owned businesses. 

HUMAN RIGHTS CAMPAIGN—CORPORATE EQUALITY INDEX.

We received a perfect score of 100% on the 2022 Corporate Equality Index, a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBT workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.

New York Life has been named as a Leading Inclusion Organization in the 2021 Seramount Inclusion Index (formerly known as the Diversity Best Practices Inclusion Index), being recognized for our efforts to foster an inclusive workplace.   The Inclusion Index provides information to help organizations understand gaps in demographic representation, and is a strategic road map to drive internal change to find and implement DEI solutions.

We were selected by OMNIKAL as one of "America’s Top 50 Organizations for Inclusive Majority Business Opportunities” for 2020. We received the award based on inclusion throughout the nation's business community. More than 2,100,000 million businesses participated in an online election to determine the Omni50 Award winners for their efforts in the global market place, at a time when inclusion has been imperative for economic prosperity and future ethical, social and cultural success. The Omni50 Award winner list is an indicator of which organizations provide the best and the most business awarded to Inclusive Majority Owned companies. This, in turn, attracts more corporations, as they compete for market share in multicultural communities and an increasingly varied global and national population.
